As some of you may or may not know, Sonni & Blush donates 10% of its profits to help fund education and outreach programs for young girls living in developing countries such as Uganda and Sierra Leone.
As cliche as it may sound, I’ve always wanted to create a brand that makes a positive difference to people in need. Especially those who are victims of poverty, sexual and racial abuse. Having such an amazing platform such as Sonni & Blush, has allowed this beautiful dream to become reality.
That said, none of this would be possible without your continued support. Every greeting card sold, every print and every candle have allowed young girls access to education and a future they may not have ever received otherwise.
We’ve been able to give a year’s education to three girls in One Girl’s Scholarship program which includes school and exam fees, school uniforms, shoes, socks and a school bag. Part of the donations will also help fund Business Brains Training which equips girls with the business skills and financial literacy required to set up their own small businesses so they can help support themselves and their families while they're studying, and also after they graduate.
